The survey will only take a few minutes to complete. (Follow the link, read the guidance, then select ‘Other Ways to Respond’.) It does not matter whether you are an experienced cyclist or a novice; the Council is keen to collect as wide a range of views as possible. Please submit your response by 6th September.
This survey supports the production of the first “Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans”. LCWIPs will set out cycle networks for each town/area and will identify what improvements are needed to make the cycle network more attractive to existing and future cyclists. LCWIPs are part of the Government’s Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy, for which Oxfordshire has already secured funding. Oxfordshire’s first LCWIPs are being produced for Oxford, Bicester and Didcot. But the Council wish to extend this to other areas. So it is important that we respond for ALL of our areas, ie Abingdon, Wantage, Grove, etc.
