Cyclox, the Oxford cycle campaign group, have Lord Berkeley coming to give a talk on the Parliamentry All Party Cycling Group, and what it does. As they are near the seat of power, it’s interesting to know how it all works.
The talk is at 7.30 this Thursday in the Friends’ Meeting House, 43 St Giles, OX1 3LW, a few doors up from the Eagle and Child. The talk is free and open to everybody.
Tony Berkeley is Secretary of the APPCG, President of the Road Danger Reduction Forum, and a Vice President of CTC. He also helped build the Channel Tunnel. The current national media campaign and the debate in Parliament on Cycle Safety make this an excellent time to hear about what’s a-wheel in Westminster now.
