This Sunday (8th December) Didcot Phoenix Cycling Club are holding a Wessex League Cyclo Cross event on the RAL site.
STFC-RAL and the RAL Rec-Soc are hosting the event, which will be held on the mound at the back of RAL site. Access and parking is via the South Car Park (turn left at the roundabount in front of Diamond and folow the road round).
This event is a race which is part of a National Championship Series, and is proud to have riding some of the countries top elite cyclo cross riders in some of the categories available. The racing commences at 10:30 and continues through until approximately 16:00, with the racing taking place all around the mound location. Spectating vantage points due to the location are excellent and this really is a thrilling sport which will excite all ages. It is FREE to come and watch.
Age ranges racing are from youth through to veteran, and the RAL Rec-soc club’s lounge bar will be open throughout the day for refreshments.
