Please be aware that an HGV delivering to campus this morning has suffered a fuel spill affecting campus roads plus roads approaching campus from the A34 northbound. Oxfordshire County Council, the Highways Agency and our onsite teams are working together to clean up roads affected and as a precaution the entrance to Becquerel Avenue from Fermi Avenue is temporarily closed. Fuel remains on the surfaces of Fermi Avenue, Becquerel Avenue and Eighth Street between Becquerel Avenue and the entrance to the Magnox site.
Please circulate this message to all staff / contractors / visitors ASAP and ask that all road users exercise care, cyclists and motorcyclists are particularly vulnerable.
