If you are cycling in from Wantage you may find that the final stretch into the Campus has been closed off. This is the section from ‘Puncture Alley’ to the Tank Farm restoration and into the campus.
There is work being carried out on the track using mechanical plant so it was / is closed for safety reasons. Having spoken to the contractors, they were told to close the path and then later told to ‘half close it’. The upshot is that you can use the path, going past the barriers but be aware that machinery is being used so make sure you can be seen, they should have banksmen looking out. You may have to have to move off the path if the machinery is blocking the path.
