Cancelled – the Milton Hill distribution centre

An update from Rowstock Residents Association (that I hope will be happy news to Harwell Campus cyclists!)

A last minute reprieve! The Esso site distribution centre will not go ahead. The developer has dropped their appeal only a month before the inquiry was due to start.

This is fantastic news and Rowstock Residents Association (RRA) is definitely celebrating. However, due to the very late notice, a huge amount of work has gone into building the case and putting together the evidence to be submitted to the appeal. We are still expecting this to cost most of what we had planned for as we have already paid experts for their time.
