CTC Wantage are running their popular season’s opening Back-on-your-Bike ride on Saturday aimed at those who haven’t cycled much recently and want to get out on the bike again . The ride starts at 2pm
from Old Mill Hall car park, Grove, and will be a relaxed sociable ride lasting up to 2 hours around the quiet country lanes of the Vale of White Horse visiting the villages of Lyford, Charney Bassett and Stanford-in-the-Vale. We’ll stop regularly for rests and to enjoy the views. There will be a stop by the shop in Stanford for refreshments (or ice creams) about 2/3rds of the way round. Please bring a drink and any other refreshments you’d like.

It’s a guest ride, so all are welcome, particularly women riders and families and those new to cycling with a group who would like to give it a go. You don’t have to be a CTC member or wear lycra. Children to be accompanied by a responsible adult please.

Apologies. I’ve included an incorrect contact email address (danger of editing past copy!): my personal address is steveswanton@easynet.co.uk , not as given.
