Had a puncture last Tuesday evening as previously mentioned, bike was being repaired Thursday/Friday, Cycled to and from work using the path Monday/Tuesday this week with no punctures.
I am going to try and notify the organisers of Uptonogood, an mtb event this summer, that will mean potentially several hundred riders using this stretch. With probable ensuing puncture mayhem!. I think now that flint splinters have been liberally distributed across and beside the path, this stretch will remain a problem for riders for many months if not years.
I must be one of the lucky ones, I have been cycling across puncture alley since the fix and have only had one puncture, I think it may be a bit of a lottery and will be for a number of months to come!
