HI, does anyone know if Peep-o-day lane from Abingdon is now open to use? If not, then what is the diversion alternative like?

The Diversion is a bit of a pain but the path is open (as of Monday). The vegetation has ben cut back but the path does not appear to be closed ATM.

OK – the lane is now closed with a large fence meaning the section between Abingdon and the entrance to the gravel works is now inaccessible.

The lane is now open. The signs haven’t been taken down yet but the lane is now rideable again.

My sister works for the Abingdon Town council and asked a contact a couple of days ago and passed on the following response:
“The works on 3B1/2 have all been completed last week. We did have issues with the public using the path before it had the chance to set, and we had to re-do the damaged areas every morning for about 2 weeks before we could start the programmed works.”
I’m planning to try it out with the family on Saturday.
